Transparency in Government

Taxpayers have a right to know how government is spending their money but in Colorado they often have to pay to find out.  Across the country, many states, local governments, school districts and even the federal government have embraced transparency.  These governments provide — free of charge —  online, searchable databases of expenditures and in some cases contracts.  When will Colorado do the same? Tune in Friday night at 8:30 p.m. to KBDI Channel 12; repeated the following Tuesday at 5 p.m.
