What on Earth is GOBASH.org?
I know what you’re thinking… Another new website from the Independence Institute? Really? I know, I know. We’ve got more websites than the Tim Gill hack organizations can even keep track of, which is nice, because the more websites we have, the more difficult it becomes to continuously feign outrage.

GOBASH.org is a product of our Education Policy Center and the brainchild of center director Pam Benigno, who cleverly came up with the acronym – which stands for the Good, the Bad, and the Shameful. According to Pam,
The purpose of the site is to raise public awareness of influential figures who either support or oppose needed reforms of a public education system that has failed thousands of children.
Be aware policy makers and influential public figures. Say or do something naughty (or nice) concerning education and you will be on record! The Boulder Valley School District became the first victim last week when the site launched. The BVSD spent nearly $200,000 of taxpayer money fighting school choice. Shameful, just plain shameful.
Policy analyst Ben DeGrow felt compelled to put Pam Benigno on record about GOBASH.org by way of podcast. Hear what Pam and Ben have to say about the new site and why it’s important to the education community.
