Mandatory health insurance is extortion. The government shouldn’t be allowed to force me to buy ANY product, be it health insurance or a movie ticket. Car insurance is mandatory because driving is a privilege. Being alive is not a privilege, it’s a right. If I have the right to refuse medical treatment, why should I be required to pay for it anyway?
The current health care bill is nothing more than a preemptive BAILOUT of the health care industry — packaged in a convenient timed release Liqui-Gel.
