Same Show, Same Time, Different Name

There are lovers of the First Amendment on both sides of the argument when it comes to Net Neutrality. Decide who makes a better case: Barry Fagin of the Independence Institute or Tony Shawcross of the Open Media Foundation who argue over the intricacies of internet ownership and control. This under-the-radar, wonkish policy issue turns into passionate discussion concerning property, morality, and democracy. Don’t miss our first episode of Devil’s Advocate, still the same time as Independent Thinking, this Friday night at 8:30PM on KBDI Channel 12; repeated the following Monday afternoon at 1:00PM.

    John,

If you’re going to call your show “Devil’s Advocate,” then perhaps you should actually play devil’s advocate, rather than taking the same predictable positions you have since Christ was a corporal. The show’s title is about as disingenuous as Bill Maher’s politically correct show being called “Politically Incorrect.”

Also, you argued that the Post Office is a monopoly, because FedEx and UPS are not permitted to use the USPS mailbox in front of your house. What’s preventing you from putting a FedEx and/or UPS mailbox in front of your house? It is certainly easier for you to do that (unless your HOA prohibits it), than for anyone to run a non-Comcast or non-Qwest line to their homes.
