Spending Revolt Tour Coming to a Town Near You!
If you’re anything like me (and unless your balding and dyslexic you’re not), you hate out of control government spending and love buses. What happens when you combine a hatred of government spending and a love of pure American gas-guzzlers with luxurious bench seating? The Spending Revolt Bus Tour! The bus tour is hitting the open road this summer and has several stops in Colorado. Tomorrow the 12th, the tour stops in Grand Junction before it continues onward to Dillon and Idaho Springs. Then on Friday the 13th, the bus makes an extended stop in Denver at – yup, you guessed it – the Colorado Automobile Dealers Association (duh) and the Cherry Creek mall. Finally, on Saturday the 14th, the bus heads down to the Springs in the morning.
Show the loony left you love two things they can’t stand – responsible government spending and vehicles that get less than 10 miles to the gallon. Visit the bus tour when it comes near you. Eat your heart out Al Gore.

Jon,
I am new to hearing you on the air, and to reading you, thus I am thoroughly confused (or you are) as to whether your values & standards flip according to whether they refer to a one from the “left” or the “right”…..
Not five or ten minutes ago I heard you attempting to support what a wacko, loony, hypocritical, “enviro” Sheryl Crow is (altho you think she’s hot). And one of your main points was the fact that she & her band & crew drive big, bad, fossile-fuel guzzling buses, and haul her equipment in a couple trucks. First of all, I’d love to know how you suggest she transport the people & equipment, that would save her your rebuke? I assumed when you began talking about her mode of transportation, that she was flying a couple private jets or something ACTUALLY hypocritical. But no, you somehow think buses & trucks somehow taint her, pretty weak, pretty weak.
I come to this site, and here, in support of the “Johnny-come-lately/horse-already-out-of-the-barn spending protesters”, you applaud the use of gas-guzzling buses!
Isn’t that textbook “holding people to higher standards than you hold yourself” (or your friends)???
How do money/gas burning buses contribute to cutting our spending??? Isn’t one of the primary reasons we are hemorrhaging money, the billions of dollars flowing to OPEC, the pollution damage to people & buildings here, etc,? And also the wars we fight to protect & sustain our supply we are so addicted to…..
Since I’m new to listening, I’ll suspend my judgement as to how much veracity I’ll give your claim to be “independent”, but it’s not looking too good…..
Somehow you’ve “independently” deduced that putting the GOP back in power, those & who’s policies are most responsible for the huge mess we find ourselves in, will somehow, & magically reverse or cure our ills. Sure, you say we “need to sit on them”, or “stand on their heads” supposedly hoping to make those very same self-proclaimed “personal accountability” campaigners, who’ve exhibited absolutely none for the eight years of the last administration, but what in God’s name makes you think that will cause them to do a complete 180?
And what makes you think the Dems, who as lame as they are, have at least stemmed the rapid descent into Depression we were on the way to, can’t be improved by “sitting or standing on their heads”??? Again, where is the “independent thinking”, where’s the facts or evidence to back up this groundless opinion?
Remember, it was the Gingrich gang that PROMISED, via their CONTRACT, they would get TERM LIMITS passed, yet broke their word, just as they have for many years, for all their talk of accountability, “fiscal responsibility”, “traditional values”, & every other value they loved to campaign on, yet forget completely about, until the next campaign arrives…. These are who you want to give the reins of government right back to?
Really???
