Pre-Presidential Debate Debate at the Institute
This morning we held a policy debate in our event room downstairs starring four “wonks” on the left and four “wonks” on the right. We billed it as, Wonks Duke It Out in Denver: The Pre-Debate Debate. The Heritage Foundation co-hosted the event with us and helped gather the 8 participants. We had William Beach, The Honorable Bob Beauprez, Amy Oliver Cooke, and
Mike Franc for the conservative side. For the progressive side we had Stanley L. Garnett, Carol Hedges, Angie Layton, and Mike Littwin. The moderators were Eli Stokols of FOX31 and Wayne Laugesen of the Colorado Springs Gazette. The debate was a rowdy good time and a fantastic appetizer to the real thing tonight.
